Trump again claims he won election as Georgia finds 3,039 more uncounted ballots

Donald Trump falsely claimed that he won the election after 3,039 uncounted ballots were found in Georgia. After the Floyd County Elections Board confirmed the audit found 2500-2700 votes that weren’t counted, the outgoing president touted these as Trump Votes on Twitter.

He retweeted a New York Times’ thread reporting that he received 10.1 million more votes across the country than in 2016 including in areas comprised primarily of Hispanic voters.

“AND I WON THE ELECTION,” Trump claimed after the race was repeatedly called for Biden. “VOTER FRAUD ALL OVER THE COUNTRY!”

Twitter rapidly labeled his tweet with the banner: Multiple sources called this election differently.

This comes after a hand recount of nearly 5 million votes in Georgia resulting from an audit required by a new state law, which, AP noted, wasn’t in response to any suspected problems with the count.

Board Member Melanie Conrad told an NBC News journalist that at this time we don’t know for sure what went wrong in Floyd County.

Later, Trump raged: The Georgia recount is a joke and is being done under protest.

Even though thousands of fraudulent votes have been found, the real number is in matching signatures. Governor must open up the unconstitutional Consent Decree and call in the Legislature!

His rant comes after multiple Trump campaign lawsuits were denied or dismissed by judges in battleground states clinched by Biden like Arizona, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Michigan.

Earlier this month, a state court judge in PA ruled that election observers could a bit closer to election officials but dismissed the GOP request to stop the count.

According to Fox News, Fayette County also unearthed 3,039 ballots that had not been included, while the Walton Tribune revealed 284 ballots were found in Walton County.

The latter boosted Trump’s county lead by 176 votes but it doesn’t look like these findings will make any significant dent in Biden’s 13,000-vote lead.

Even if Trump won Georgia, that would only up his tally to 248 electoral votes versus Biden’s 290.

An hour after touting the development in Georgia, Trump went on to reiterate his false claims of a rigged election.

He shared a Reuters article which revealed that half of all Republicans think Trump “rightfully won” and that the race was “stolen” from him due to voter fraud favoring Biden based on no concrete evidence.

This was a rigged election, Trump raged. No Republican Poll Watchers allowed, voting machine glitches all over the place (meaning they got caught cheating!) voting after the election ended, and so much more!

His tweet was not flagged for over 23 minutes, a day after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey told senators misinformation would be labeled within five to 30 minutes after posting before the disputed tag appeared.

The news after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court rejected the Trump Campaign’s claim that Republican observers didn’t get meaningful access there.
