Qatar offers 100,000 jobs to Pakistanis.
Qatari ambassador, Mr. Saqr bin Al-Mansouri declared that visa centers are going to be set up as Qatar will provide jobs opportunities to 100,000 Pakistanis. The jobs will be available for skilled and semi-skilled laborers.
Reports suggest that it was at a ceremony held for the national day of Qatar where the Qatari ambassador spoke. He pointed out that Pakistan and Qatar will be assisting each other to increase cooperation in the power sector. Furthermore, the envoy also praised and encouraged the education division of Pakistan. He has offered to give education facilities to 1 million Pakistani kids who do not go to schools.
Besides this, it is presumed that the Prime Minister Imran Khan will be visiting Qatar this month. Sources familiar with the issue stated that the Prime Minister will talk to the Qatari PM and other top-level authorities. They will discuss working together in several other areas, including LNG agreement.
According to sources, this will give the chance to businesses and individuals to invest in Pakistan. As a result of negotiations, the labor force of Pakistan may also go to Qatar in the future for jobs.
President Dr. Arif Alvi had recently invited the Emperor of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Pakistan. He wanted his highness to attend a meeting with Sheikh Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani, from the ruling family of Qatar. He invited the president to his office in the federal judiciary.
The president, Arif Alvi cordially received the foreign luminary and showed his delight over the constant growth in joint cooperation. Due to the connection of Karachi Port with Hamad Port Pakistan’s exports have been rising and the president was pleased with it.
